Major update of Dynamics 365 Business Central 2021 release wave 2 (BC19) is available

If you are the notification recipients in Business Central Admin Center, you might have received the notification emails from Microsoft Partner Center.

Yes, the major update of Dynamics 365 Business Central 2021 release wave 2 (BC19) is available. (Based on the region of Tenant and the region of the BC Environment, the release date may be different)

Note:
Updates will start automatically on or after 10/30/2021 if you don’t set a specific date.

In Business Central Admin Center:

Now you can set update date for the environment.

An update to version 19.0.29894.30403 is available. Updates will begin on 10/30/2021. You may schedule a date for the update on the Update action list. Go to Business Central Updates for more information.

Choose Update Settings -> Set update date.

Or click Modify after the update date.

The update must be scheduled between 10/16/2021 and 12/15/2021.

Last day to apply update is 2021/12/15 in this environment. (within 60 days period)

After setting the major update date, you will receive a confirmation email.

Updating.

During the upgrade, users cannot access the environment.
