Hi, Readers.
Today, I’d like to briefly discuss an issue that is of particular concern to Business Central users in mainland China, can Dynamics 365 Business Central Online (SaaS) be used in Mainland China? (Is BC accessible from Mainland China?)
I went back to China last week and did some simple tests, which I hope will be helpful to everyone.
In Directions EMEA 2025 (4-6 November 2025 ), Microsoft announced that Business Central is now available in 242 countries and regions!

And the following 29 countries/regions are scheduled for release in December 2025. More details: Country/Regional Availability and Supported Languages – Business Central | Microsoft Learn

Unfortunately, this does not include mainland China. Therefore, Business Central cannot be purchased in mainland China. However, is it possible for users located in mainland China to access Business Central environments hosted in other regions? This is the main part of my test this time.
First, local network information and speed test:

Then there are the test results from AzureSpeed.com: Southeast Asia > Japan West > Japan East.

More details: Test the speed of Dynamics 365 Business Central from your location (Azure Latency Test)
If a choice of networks is available, consider connecting to a secure network that has lower latency. In general, the user interface performs better when latency is low.
Business Central is designed for networks that have a latency of 250–300 milliseconds (ms) or less. This latency is the latency from a browser client to the Microsoft Azure datacenter that hosts the app. We recommend that you test network latency at AzureSpeed.com or similar services.Performance Tips for Business Users – Business Central | Microsoft Learn

In mainland China, users can also sign in to Microsoft 365 Home and see Business Central listed there.

Below are the results for some test countries/regions, primarily tested through the Troubleshooting Connectivity page. More details: Dynamics 365 Business Central: Troubleshoot connectivity
HK: Asia

TW: Asia

JP: Japan

KR: Korea

SG: Asia

US: United States

Great. As for Simplified Chinese, Microsoft added it in BC17.2, but like other W1 versions, Microsoft does not provide first-party translations; you need to seek translation packs from partners. More details: Microsoft has added Business Central platform support for Chinese (Simplified), Bulgarian, Greek, Romanian and Turkish languages in BC17.2

Please note that this result is based solely on my own test environment and location, and it does not necessarily represent the situation across all of mainland China. Actual accessibility may vary.
In addition, there is no guarantee that this access will remain available in the future……
PS:
1. Where is cloud(SaaS) data actually stored? (Using Azure geographies)
3. XLIFF translation files (Working with Translations)
END
Hope this will help.
Thanks for reading.
