Hi, Everyone.
This time I want to share a method to restart Business Central instance in SaaS. Although I personally do not recommend it.
As you all know, we can simply restart the instance in On-Premises. But in SaaS, we cannot do it. The only thing users and partners can operate is Business Central Admin Center, and there is no feature to restart the instance.

Therefore, if you really want to restart the instance in SaaS, you must submit a Service Request to Microsoft support. If the time zone is different from Microsoft support, like Japan, it will take at least two or three days.
So, what are we going to do.
This is actually very simple, I believe some experts have noticed it.
We can use the “Application Insights Key” feature in Business Central Admin Center.

Because in the description of “Application Insights Key”, the following message is displayed.
Caution: Applying this key requires a restart to the environment. We recommend doing this when no users are active in Business Central.

Enter the fake key here, and after clicking save, the instance will be restarted.
Sample Instrumentation Key:00000000-aaaa-bbbb-cccc-dddddddddddd
State:Preparing -> Active.
