I will continue to test and share some new features that I hope will be helpful.

In this post, I would like to share a small update, easily copy Entra tenant ID, environment and session details when reporting a problem. This is not yet documented in the Business Central 2024 release wave 1 (BC24) release plan. But it is mentioned in What’s new: Boost your productivity with Business Central.

As you might know, from the Help pane, you can access the Help & Support page inside Business Central that includes helpful links. More details: Help & Support page

On the Report a problem tab, you can copy the Entra tenant ID, environment and session details and add it to your support request. This copying process has always been manual.

With this wave (BC24), Microsoft has added an action, Copy the text below.

Use it to quickly copy this information to the clipboard.😁

1. With Business Central online, the Report a Problem section (Manage support contact) is only available if you have paid for a Business Central subscription.
