Users can export report datasets to XML:
Business value:
Users and developers can get report datasets in XML that they can then use to either archive the data for compliance or integration scenarios, or to troubleshoot the reports during development.
Feature details:
Similar to the Export dataset to Excel (no layout) capability that was added in 2021 release wave 1, business users and developers can now get report datasets in XML directly from the request page.The Export dataset to XML feature will show up the same place in the request page and will also require the same privileges.

We have previously discussed how to export reports into various formats through customization, including XML format.

Now, starting from Business Central 2022 wave 1 (BC20), Microsoft brought us an out-of-the-box feature.
Choose Send to… on the Request page of the report.
You can find a new file type, XML Document. Choose OK.
An XML file is automatically downloaded.
