In Regarding the cost of the Copilot/Agent features (Manage consumption-based billing for agent capabilities), we briefly covered the costs associated with using the Agent feature in Business Central.
Sales Order Agent billing:
The Sales Order Agent connects to a shared mailbox that processes customer requests for sales quotes and orders. The following table shows how the Business Central scenarios performed by the Sales Order agent are mapped to Copilot Studio events.

Therefore, the Agent features in Business Central is not free. Microsoft launched this campaign to allow more end customers to experience these new features.
Some summaries:
- By submitting your nomination you opt in to participate in a limited campaign where each participating customer will receive 1,000 Copilot Credits per month for three months, covering the period from January 1st, 2026 to April 1st, 2026.
- Both require your environment to be running on version 27.1 or later.
- Please note that participation in this campaign is limited and not guaranteed. Submitting your information does not ensure acceptance, as selection will depend on technical readiness, capacity, and alignment with our campaign goals.
- This campaign is designed especially for Business Central customers (end users).
