Business Central 2025 wave 2 (BC27): Week Numbers in date picker (Show or hide week numbers in calendar)

I will continue to test and share some new features that I hope will be helpful. In this post, I would like to talk about Week Numbers in date picker (Show or hide week numbers in calendar).

This new feature is not yet documented in the Business Central 2025 release wave 2 (BC27) release plan and AL Language extension changelog Version 16.0, but it is mentioned in What’s new: User experience improvements

More details:

In Business Central, any field displaying a calendar icon can be set using the calendar date picker. To display the calendar date picker, activate the calendar icon or select the Ctrl+Home keyboard shortcut in the field.

PS: We had a new calendar date picker in Business Central 2024 wave 1 (BC24).

With this wave (BC27), We can use Shift + Home keyboard shortcut to show or hide week numbers in calendar.

PS: According to my tests, this is only available in Business Central 2025 wave 2 (BC27), not in BC26.5 and prior.
