Today, I would like to share an interesting VS Code extension I recently came across: AL Copilot Skills Collection.

AL Copilot Skills Collection: Install a collection of purpose-built AI coding assistant skills for Business Central AL development — with a single command.

This is somewhat like a supplementary feature to the AL Agent Tools we discussed earlier. More details: GitHub Copilot Agent Tools now available in the AL Extension (New AL Tools Available for Agents)

Let’s see more details.

Quick Start:

• Open any AL project in VS Code.
• Install the extension from the VS Code Marketplace.

• Press Ctrl+Shift+P (or Cmd+Shift+P on macOS).
• Run “AL Copilot Skills Collection: Install Skills (GitHub Copilot)” or “AL Copilot Skills Collection: Install Skills (Claude)”.

• Skills and instructions are deployed to the selected assistant target in your workspace.
• Start using your assistant — skills are available from the target-specific project folders.

Let’s try the new Agents Windows this time.

These skills can all be found under “Skills” on the left.

For example,

bc-setup-table-generator:

I typed this into the chat: I want to create a new setup table and page.

Then, agent will ask me for some reference values ​​to create this setup table.

Done. You can see that it’s already very polished.
