Hi, Readers.
Today I would like to share another mini tip about Business Central, how to check the font of a standard report.
This is a question I saw on the Dynamics 365 Community yesterday morning. The user wanted to check the font of the report shown below, but wasn’t sure how to do it.

Of course, you can’t tell the font just by looking at a printed document, but it’s not difficult—we just need to export the standard layout.
First of all, the online version of Business Central contains pre-installed fonts on the servers that can be used when generating reports.
For security and legal reasons, you cannot upload custom fonts to the Business Central environment.
Let’s see more details.
If you have already opened the request page, click the … next to Report Layout.

Choose … -> Export layout

GTIN: IDAutomationHC39M

GTIN_2D: IDAutomation2D

It’s very simple. This example uses a Word layout, but you can use the exact same method for RDLC and Excel layouts.
RDLC:

Excel:

Additionally, if you know the Report ID or Name, you can also export the layout file directly from the Report Layouts page. The Report Layouts page appears and lists all the layouts currently available for all reports.

Great, give it a try!!!😁

Hope this will help.
Thanks for reading.
