Back in May this year, I received an invitation from Duilio-san and Stefano-san to join Italian BC Day 2026 as a guest speaker and share some of my personal experiences and reflections.
Since I delivered my presentation in Japanese with real-time automatic translation displayed on-site, a few attendees reached out afterward asking if I could share the content of my speech. Apologies for the wait, but I’d like to share a brief overview of it today.
BC DAY IT 2026
1. Welcome & Introduction

Hello everyone in the Italian community! I am YUN Zhu, joining you all from Japan. It is truly an honor to be invited to this incredible event in Milan.

2. Question 1: Why the blog?

English: We would like to kindly ask you why you have started creating your incredible website and blog.
My Answer (Japanese):
私がウェブサイトとブログを始めた理由は、知識を共有することで、世界中のBC技術者やユーザーが直面する課題を「一緒に」解決したいと考えたからです。
私自身、最初にこのテクノロジーの世界に触れた際、ここにいらっしゃる Stefano（ステファノ）さん や Duilio（ドゥイリオ）さん といったコミュニティの偉大な先輩たちが発信する情報に何度も救われ、その重要性を肌で感じました。
その時の感謝の気持ちを込めて、今度は私が「恩返し」をする番だと思ったのがきっかけです。複雑な技術をそのままにするのではなく、誰もがアクセスできる場所に、分かりやすく整理して残しておく。
そうすることで、私一人の小さな学びが、世界のどこかにいる誰かの成功に繋がっていく。その「ポジティブな連鎖」を広げていくことが、私の最大のモチベーションになっています。
My Answer (English):
The reason I started my website and blog was to share knowledge and solve the challenges faced by BC professionals and users worldwide “together.”
When I first entered this tech world, I was saved many times by the insights shared by great community mentors—like Stefano-san and Duilio-san who are here today—and I truly felt the importance of their work.
Out of gratitude, I felt it was my turn to “pay it forward.” Instead of leaving complex technology as it is, I wanted to organize it clearly in a place where everyone can access it. In this way, my small individual learning can lead to someone else’s success somewhere in the world. Expanding this “positive chain” is my greatest motivation.
3. Question 2: Why so frequent?

English: We would also like to kindly ask how you can keep up blogging with so high frequency. It is really truly fascinating and amazing for all community.
My Answer (Japanese):
高い頻度で更新を続けられるのは、何よりも「書くこと」そのものが、私自身の学びのプロセスになっているからです。
新しい機能や解決策を見つけたときの喜びを、新鮮なうちに形にすることを大切にしています。アウトプットを前提にすることで、技術への理解がより深く、確かなものになります。私にとってブログは、自分をアップデートし続けるための「最高の学習法」です。
また、イタリアの皆さんのようなコミュニティからのフィードバックが、最大の原動力です。「役に立った」という一言があるからこそ、忙しい時でも情熱を持って執筆を続けられます。
習慣も大切ですが、皆さんと繋がっているという実感が、何よりのエネルギー源ですね。
My Answer (English):
I maintain a high frequency because “writing” itself is my essential learning process.
I value capturing the joy of discovering new features while it’s still fresh. Making “output” my goal makes my understanding deeper and more solid. For me, blogging is the “ultimate learning method” to keep myself updated.
Above all, feedback from communities like yours is my greatest motivation. Hearing “This helped” keeps me writing with passion, no matter how busy I am. While habits matter, the feeling of being “connected with you all” is my true source of energy.
