Dynamics 365 Business Central 2025 wave 1 (BC26) is generally available. More details: General Available: Dynamics 365 Business Central 2025 release wave 1 (BC26).

As a Business Central user, the web client is a key element of your daily interactions. Enhancements and improvements to the UI provide increased flexibility and productivity, enabling you to manage and complete your tasks more efficiently.
Microsoft continuously improve the experience by adding new features, adjusting the visual style to match modern design principles, and responding to user feedback. This feature introduces the following enhancements:
- 1. Updated the FactBox pane with new, curved-corners layout.
With this wave (BC26), we can resize the FactBox pane and remember this choice per page and mode.

- 2. Updated the Power BI embedded experience with adjusted controls and look.
With this wave (BC26), Microsoft added a new PageType UserControlHost. This page type can be used to only render a single usercontrol in the client. With the UserControlHost page type, the layout is optimized by the client to maximize the available space for the usercontrol. - 3. Updated Role Explorer and Report Explorer to display page and report descriptions, when provided, as extended teaching tooltips.

- 4. Added new option to Role Explorer and Report Explorer to open pages and reports in a separate window without closing the Explorer.

- 5. Updated the Search field in the environment and company picker with a search icon and instructional text.
In BC25.5 and previous versions:
- 6. Added a new divider between system and application actions in context menus on lists.

- 7. Refreshed the icon for prompt guides in chat with Copilot.
