I will continue to test and share some new features that I hope will be helpful. In this post, I would like to share a piece of information, the public preview of the Sales Order Agent is now available in both the United States and the United Kingdom. This feature is documented in the previous release plan (2024 release wave 2 plan).

The agent focuses users’ attention on critical tasks, increasing motivation and job satisfaction across the business function to which it is applied. Microsoft studies have shown that over the next five years, 41 percent of business leaders expect to redefine business processes with AI, orchestrating and managing AI agents while prioritizing ethical AI use.

Now, you can try the Sales Order Agent in a new online Sandbox environment, which should be created on Business Central version 26 (2025 release wave 1) and in the supported regions (US and UK). For example,
After entering the environment, you can see an icon that is not available in the environments of other countries or regions, Sales Order Agent.
Click it to open the Copilot window.
Similar to the wizard page, there are four areas that require confirmation.
PS: When setting up a mailbox, only Microsoft 365 is currently supported. Using other mailboxes will not be effective.
A discussion in the BC Yammer Group
After confirming all the information, choose Update to complete the setup.
Choose Allow Always.
Done.
Let me give you a very simple example. As a customer, I send an email to the email address I just set up.
Then BC users can confirm it immediately in Sales Order Agent.
Choose Review. Then you can open this email in BC.
Choose Confirm. This step will be closed.
The Sales Order Agent will then give you the next steps based on the current situation and the information in the email.

1. To activate the agent with the current settings, a mailbox must be selected first.
