How to check (view) Dynamics 365 Business Central known issues in Power Platform admin center

Dynamics 365 Business Central

Hi, Readers.
Today I would like to briefly share how to check Dynamics 365 Business Central known issues in Power Platform admin center.

As you know, there may be some standard issues with Dynamics 365 Business Central. So is there a place where we can find product issues, or known issues raised by other partners? Yes of course, you can find this information in the Power Platform admin center.

Let’s see more details.

You can now view existing product issues, or known issues, for which a fix has been identified or is in progress. A workaround and expected time to fix the issue are also provided, when available. More details: View known issues

  • Select Help + support in the navigation pane.
  • Select the Known issues tab.
  • Narrow your search for a known issue by using the available filters and search.
    • Product Category: Choose one or multiple products. By default, all products with a known issue are selected.
    • Status: Select the status of known issues that you want to view.
      • All: All known issues are listed.
      • Active: Known issues that are currently being worked on are listed.
      • Resolved: Known issues that have been fixed, but not necessarily deployed are listed.
    • Search: Enter key words to find the known issue you’re looking for.

We can find Dynamics 365 Business Central in the Product category.

Then we can find existing product issues, or known issues in Business Central. (It would be even better if this data could be found in the Business Central Admin Center)

  • Select the title of a known issue to view details, including a description of the problem and a workaround, if available.

Bookmark the URL of the known issue page so that you can easily come back to view updates.

Great, give it a try!!!😁

PS: To help you administer environments and settings, you can assign users the Microsoft Power Platform admin role to manage Microsoft Power Platform at the tenant level. There are two Microsoft Power Platform–related service admin roles you can assign to provide a high level of admin management:

  • Dynamics 365 admin
  • Microsoft Power Platform admin

END

Hope this will help.

Thanks for reading.
